Well, it’s starting. People are reaching that point where they are wigging out from too much time at home, and some are ready to venture out. The first travelers will take staycations close to home or travel via car to a destination within driving distance. Either way, resorts and hotels are starting to open back up to welcome guests. Here’s a list of some luxury resorts open for road trips.

Resorts Open for Road Trips
Thanks to the good folks at Magma Global Travel for putting together these lists of resorts open for road trips. We’re so glad to see this list as we dream about where we want to visit first. Lately it’s been a daily conversation in our house about where we will go when we are cleared to travel.
The lists are created for top destination markets in the US. Focus areas are: Los Angeles/Southern California; San Francisco/Northern California; Greater Miami; New York; and Chicago. It’s important to note that each of these resort and hotel destinations have implemented stringent guidelines for cleanliness, safety and social distancing.
Check with your desired destination for specifics on how many guests are allowed on property, as well as other details about services and temporary adjustments in daily operations. Regardless, people are ready to hit the road for a change of scenery!
