When the girls were little, one of our favorite stories was Winnie the Pooh. We never grew tired of hearing about Christopher Robin’s adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his menagerie of stuffed friends. Even now, the thought of Pooh and Piglet make my eyes a little watery as I think of how our daughters loved them so.
I guess Disney knew we’d be feeling nostalgic right about now. They timed themselves perfectly to unveil the first trailer from their upcoming live-action movie, Christopher Robin. The new story centers on a grown-up Christopher Robin, as Pooh and friends help him rediscover the lost wonder of his youth.
I hope the girls want to go so I have an excuse to tag along. After all, Pooh would say “Sometimes the smallest things take the most room in your heart.”
